What is the Treatment Called?
The treatment is called Radio Frequency & Electroporation
It is a dual technology skin rejuvenation treatment that involves firstly delivering radio frequency to the skin, followed by electroporation. The treatment is delivered using the Dual Injector Pro+ machine with a probe that glides over the areas being treated, such as face, neck, and decolletage area. This treatment is safe, effective and suitable for all skin types. It can also be used on other parts of the body such as hands & arms.
What is Radio Frequency?
Radio frequency is a non-surgical, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. Radio frequency is basically delivering heat waves to the skin via a large probe that is used to glide over the treatment areas. Radio frequency facilitates the attribution of oxygen in the tissues and activates cell metabolism. It also contributes to the excretion of catabolic residues. One of the key effects of radio frequency is that it has the effect of stimulating your cells to produce collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. This causes a physiological response in the body leading to it progressively and naturally tightening the skin. These are all important factors that will improve the tone, elasticity and general complexion of your skin.
What is Electroporation?
Electroporation is effectively a “no needle mesotherapy” that allows us to deliver special therapeutic serums such as hyaluronic acid, ceramide and antioxidant vitamin c deep into the skin by using electromagnetic pulses. These electromagnetic pulses temporarily open up the microchannels in the skin cells to make them more permeable and allow the serums to be deeply absorbed. This leaves your skin glowing and hydrated.
Consultation
A full medical consultation is provided with our nurse prescriber to check suitability of treatment. A booking fee of £30 will secure your appointment, and is redeemable against treatment.
Procedure Time
At Luceo, we take our time to inform you of the treatment plan and aftercare. The procedure time will take from 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on areas treated.
Recovery Time
No pain, no needles, no downtime. This treatment is a lovely, relaxing procedure that will leave you feeling calm and refreshed. You will be given aftercare guidance following your treatment.
Results
Results can be seen immediately after just one treatment and are progressive. Best results are achieved with a course of treatments. Like many treatments, ongoing maintenance sessions will provide lasting results.

What Happens at your Appointment?
Firstly, you will receive a lovely facial cleanse.
You will receive an “instant painless peel”. This is an enzymatic peel that does not cause any pain or any peeling. It very gently exfoliates the dead skin cells from the surface and this allows the dual injector treatment to work more effectively and allows better absorption of the products used.
Your skin will then have one of 3 products applied, depending on your skin type and needs, to perform the electroporation (no-needle mesotherapy)
1) Moisturising Essence with High % of Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid - Increases nourishment to the skin
2) Vitamin C - great for younger skin, helps with new collagen, if wanting a glow & for pigmentation
3) Ceramide – great for mature, very dry skin with elastosis
*You can alternate what gel/essence you wish us to use at each treatment
The electroporation mode is carried out with the probe moving lightly over your skin. It gives off a blue light and slight tingly feeling on your skin. This part of the treatment allows deep penetration of these lovely products. The excess lotion will then be removed with a gentle toner containing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The electroporation part of the treatment leaves the skin deeply hydrated and glowing.
Your skin will then be covered with a lovely nourishing moisturising lotion to provide ‘glide” for the probe during the radio frequency mode. During this part of the treatment, the probe will be kept moving at all times over your face and this will give off a lovely red light and relaxing warmth. The excess lotion will then be removed with a gentle toner containing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. This leaves the skin hydrated and toned.
You will then have Obagi Hydrafactor a long-lasting moisturiser combined with SPF30, applied to your face and neck to provide protection post treatment.
You will be given aftercare advice as it is important to avoid harsh products on your skin for a few days post treatment.
This treatment is very relaxing – the prefect pamper.

You will receive a full medical assessment before agreeing to the treatment and this will include checking your medical history, current medications, and any skin concerns.
